TZA

24 Time Zones Award

TZA - Time Zones Award is established by Irkutsk Award Group and issued to HAMs (and SWL) of all the world for providing QSOs with HAMs in one of 24 various time zones of the world.
Twenty four QSOs in all.

TZA-ALL

Diploma TZA-ALL (All time zones of the world) is established by "Irkutsk Award Group" and issued to HAMs of all world for QSOs with radio amateur stations in all time zones of the Earth.
It is necessary to provide a one contact with the each of time zone of the Earth.
Forty QSOs in all.

5B-TZA

The diploma 5B-TZA (Time zones on five bands) is established by "Irkutsk Award Group" and issued to radio amateurs of all world for providing QSOs with HAMs in all time zones of the Earth.
It is necessary to provide QSOs on five different bands (3.6, 7, 14, 21, 28) with at least 24 time zones on each band.
One hundred and twenty QSOs in all.
Everybody who fulfill the terms is awarded with a diploma 5B-TZA. The award 5B-TZA is accompanied with a wooden plaque.

For the each additional WARC band the label is issued.

For contacts in various categories labels are issued.
In labels serial numbers of appropriate categories are specified.
The following is taken into account:

    Bands:
    - For QSOs provided on one of the bands 1.8, 3.6, 7, 10, 14, 18, 21, 24 and 28 or irrespective of a band (MIXED BANDS) (This category does not concern to the diploma 5B-TZA)
    Modes:
    - For contacts provided: CW, SSB, Digital (SSTV, RTTY, PSK31) or MIXED MODES
    Power:
    QRP - For contacts provided with OUTPUT power less than 5 Watts
    QRPp
    - For contacts provided with OUTPUT power 0.5 Watts or less

QSOs made after May 1, 2005 are valid. (Including May 1, 2005.)
Contacts with ground stations are counted.
All QSOs should be provided from the same time zone.

The Application for a diploma.

The application is filled in ascending order of time zones with the data of QSOs, a date, a band, a mode (CW, SSB etc.), a time zone in relation to UTC (GMT), both sent/received RS/RST.
Power - Standard/QRP/QRPp should be specified in a title of the application.
The Application should contain:
- the confirmation from national radio amateur league or two radio HAMs that QSL-cards are at the applicant's possession and the data in QSLs corresponds to the data in the application
or
- QSL-cards are enclosed to the application on all contacts made and sent to the mentioned below address.
Cost of the diploma 12$, including s&h. (Or 12 IRCs).
Cost of a label is 2 IRC, including mailing.
Cost of a plaque is 35 $, including s&h.
If QSL-cards were sent it is necessary to pay return delivery of QSL-cards.

PLEASE NOTE:
If one completed terms for one of the award he/she can send us an electronic application for the award.
Send us an electronic version of the application and the paper version of the first (title) page.
As far as we get the electronic version of the application we will reserve the award number.
When we get the paper application (first page) and payment we shall issue the award and send it.

RK0SYY antenna

RK0SYY is a club station created by Irkutsk Award Group.
The station is on a coast of lake Baikal in Listvyanka village.
The team of the station carry out various expeditions over lake Baikal, visiting islands, and working from other places around Baikal lake.
